Characters/Pairings: Martha/Doctor…with qualifications
Spoilers: Doctor Who, through the end of season 3 (series 3, whichever), “Utopia,” “The Sound Of Drums,” “The Last Of The Time Lords,” “Time Crash,” and Martha’s new job. :) This is totally AU from the end of season 3. Season 4 does not exist in this fic-canon.

Author's Notes: This follows directly on the heels of “Out Of The Frying Pan,” but picks up right as Martha is captured by the Miasimia Gorians. Like I was going to just leave her in their hands. :D It’s also tied in with “The Faithful Companion,” so I suggest you read that first.
